During the past two years the phrase ‘human capital reporting’ has begun to trip off the tongues of everyone from investors and consultancies to UK-based professional association, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and father of HR thinking Dave Ulrich

According to an analysis by The Maturity Institute of top FTSE companies, the average score for capability in human capital management was 51.5%.

This feature by Katie Jacobs in HR magazine examined the various initiatives underway to help investors assess the value of people and asked whether we will ever see standardised human capital reporting.
