She has led some of the UK’s most influential B2B titles across retail, consumer goods and people management, including The Grocer, Retail Week and HR magazine.

As co founder and editorial director of The People Space, Siân helps senior HR and people leaders make sense of the trends shaping the future of work. Through its articles, podcasts and insights The People Space focuses on how humans and machines can collaborate to build better and more sustainable organisations. She also hosts the podcast, Work’s Not Working. Let’s Fix It, interviewing leaders and thinkers from around the world about what is changing in the world of work.

During her 10 years at Mark Allen Group, Siân edited and then published HR magazine before taking on a board role as publishing director with responsibility for a portfolio of B2B and consumer brands. She created the HR Most Influential ranking, developed the HR in the Boardroom programme for chief people officers and led award winning editorial teams through major digital and commercial change. Earlier in her career she held senior editorial roles at The Grocer, Retail Week, Leisure Week, Centaur Business Intelligence and In Store Marketing.

Beyond her editorial work Siân has served as a board member, trustee, mentor and awards judge, and has written and edited business thought leadership including the CIPD’s Responsible Investment in Technology Guide and Wayne Clarke’s book, How to Become a World Class Manager. She has interviewed more than a 1,000 senior leaders and continues to consult with HR teams and innovators on thought leadership, narrative development and strategic visibility.

Siân’s work is driven by a belief that ideas matter when they are expressed clearly and grounded in evidence. Across journalism, consulting and broadcasting she remains focused on helping leaders articulate distinctive points of view and build healthier, more human workplaces.
